“Off The Record” is the album's first single and title track.

It was written about the concept of expressing something that one might typically keep private.

Personally, I find I sometimes have a tendency to sugar coat my experiences or appear strong in the face of challenges. “Off The Record” is about acknowledging my authentic self and embracing the complexity and the discomfort of certain emotions.

The journey of arriving at our destination isn’t always an easy or a happy one. Much like the making of this album, this song is about making peace with the process, and shaking off any expectations of perfection.

This song describes my emotional disposition, my spiritual journey, and my romantic nature.
