Start with the destination
Choose a font when you need a stable visual for print or design. Choose Unicode when the result must stay editable inside a text field.
- PNG: preserves the exact letter shapes.
- Unicode: stays selectable and copyable.

Look closely at the joins
A cursive font can add kerning and ligatures so nearby letters flow together. Unicode script characters are fixed symbols and do not know which character comes next.
That difference is easiest to see in pairs such as fi, sh and tt.

What is the difference between the PNG and copyable text options?
The Font & PNG option draws your words with a digital script font and downloads an image. Copy Styled Text replaces supported letters and digits with Unicode characters such as πͺπ«π¬. Those characters remain text, but they do not carry one fixed font appearance.
Why can styled characters look different or fail after I paste them?
Many styles use characters from Unicode's Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block. The receiving app decides whether to accept them, and the viewer's device font decides how they look. Paste a short sample into the exact field, save it, and check it again before publishing. Keep important wording in ordinary letters.
Does the converter upload the text I enter?
The converter code does not send the text you type to our server. Conversion and image rendering happen on this page. The page does request the font files it needs from Google Fonts, so an internet request is still made for those assets.
Can I use the preview fonts in commercial work?
Google states that fonts available through Google Fonts use open-source licenses and may be used in commercial or non-commercial projects. You are still responsible for the words, names, trademarks and final design you create. Review the specific font license when a project requires formal clearance.
