Faith

I love this quote by Richard Bach. It reminds me to look beyond situations. To have faith that this is not all there is. To remember that a disaster in our eyes may just be a blessing in disguise. To watch, and wait.

That is not to say that I believe 'everything happens for a reason'. I have never liked that quote. There are so many random accidents and horrible circumstances that I don't think are 'purposeful events from the Gods'...But: I am basically optimistic. I believe in the saying (it's biblical, too) that all things work together for good.
I have hope that things will work out. I believe there's a purpose to our lives. Just because something may seem hopeless to us doesn't mean there is no hope. An ending is always followed by a beginning. A caterpillar really will get its wings. All that is needed is patience and faith that something greater is at work in the universe. Just let go, stand back and observe life's miracles. They are everywhere.
