When I tried it, I thought it would be a bit of a casual game to kill time, but it requires much more strategy than it seems because you have to think carefully about your team and when to deploy each unit, calculate the cost, the cooldown time, and every other little thing that can make you lose a match.
The best and the worst of The Battle Cats
• What I liked most is that it's very easy to play, although difficult to master, and it has tons of cats that you can unlock.
• What I liked least is that unlocking all the cats can be quite tough, and leveling them up requires a lot of experience.

I tried the game in 2023 and it was awesome. Coming back to it 3 years later is awesome too.
I’m not giving it five stars because at first it’s fun, but as you progress it becomes very complicated.
