The Whale Webcam

Follow the construction of The Whale and see the surrounding landscape.

Our webcam is mounted at the top of the Andenes Lighthouse, facing south towards the construction site and the island of Andøya. To the right, you can see Ravnholmen. The breakwater built as part of The Whale project connects the islet to the mainland, creating a completely new recreational area for both local residents and visitors.

The camera overlooks the coastal landscape of Andenes. To the right, looking west, lies the open ocean. About one hour by boat from here is Bleiksdjupet, a deep submarine canyon at the edge of the continental shelf, renowned for its rich whale populations.

To the left, looking east, you can see Andfjorden. Straight ahead are the mountains Ramnan, Andhue, and Røyken.
