Yoga For Seniors

Our senior classes include yoga poses, pranayama, meditation and relaxation. These classes strengthen the body’s ability to manage health conditions, stress and weight, improve overall health, and bring tranquillity. The yogic system is  based on the core belief that the human being’s natural state is one that of optimal health and wellness. Aligning to  thinking, we aim to reduce disturbances in physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health to allow an individual to function at his/her optimal potential. In our classes, we place emphasis on breath awareness for mental peace, loosening practices to prepare for asanas, and pranayama/meditation for a deeper connection with oneself and to ease out stress and sleep related issues.
