Can I master a whole EP or album?
Yes, that's what Project Master is built for. Load every song into one project and master them together so the record is cohesive: consistent loudness and tonal balance from track to track, with a per-song dashboard so you can spot and fix any outliers before you export. EP (4-6 songs) is $4.99 and Album (10-15 songs) is $11.99, one-time.
What is AI mastering?
AI mastering is automated audio mastering. You upload your final mix and the engine applies EQ, compression, stereo shaping, and loudness limiting to make it sound balanced, loud, and release-ready, without booking a studio session. The Mix Medic also gives you a Dynamic EQ and reference matching so you can take over whenever you want.
How does reference matching work?
Upload a reference song you want your track to sound like. The Mix Medic analyzes the reference's tonal balance, loudness, and stereo width, then shapes your master toward that target so your song sits next to commercial releases.
What formats can I download?
Pick your export quality from one dropdown: up to 24-bit / 96 kHz WAV for audiophile and hi-res streaming, 24-bit / 48 kHz for video and film, 24 or 16-bit / 44.1 kHz for Spotify, Apple Music and CD, or MP3 at 320 kbps or space-saving 128 kbps. Free masters export as 128 kbps MP3.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You can use The Mix Medic in a modern web browser with no plugins or software to install. The controls and auditioning run in your browser; Smart Master analysis and exports securely process your audio on our mastering server.
Is there a desktop app?
The Mix Medic Desktop is planned as an Unlimited benefit, but downloads are currently paused while we finish a mastering update. The web app remains available.
