As I was walking along one of the trails, I came upon this sweet Cedar Waxwing couple. I've edited the background to make it look "arty".
 It was a thrill for me to capture this moment.

Cedar Waxwing Fans His Tail

"The days may not be so bright and balmy—yet the quiet and melancholy that linger around them is fraught with glory. Over everything connected with autumn there lingers some golden spell—some unseen influence that penetrates the soul with its mysterious power."

Cedar Waxwing in Autumn Leaves

"Give me the end of the year an' its fun
 When most of the plannin' an' toilin' is done;
 Bring all the wanderers home to the nest,
 Let me sit down with the ones I love best,
 Hear the old voices still ringin' with song,
 See the old faces unblemished by wrong,
 See the old table with all of its chairs
 An' I'll put soul in my Thanksgivin' prayers."
Edgar A. Guest, Thanksgiving

Saturday

Should I stay or should I go?

As I was going through some pics from a June outing, I saw this one of the Cedar Waxwings and the first thing that came to my mind was: "Should I stay or should I go?" by the Clash.

That was one of my favorite songs back in the late 80s. I thought it was fitting that I used a texture that had musical notes on it (right hand side)
Anyone else remember that song?  It sure brought back some fun memories for me :)
