Applications invited for social worker posts in Juvenile Justice Board

RANIPET: The department of child welfare and special services has invited applications from eligible candidates for the social worker posts in the Juvenile Justice Board in Ranipet district.
According to a release from the district administration, interested candidates can obtain the application form from the District Child Protection Union. Candidates can also visit the department’s website https://dsdcpimms.tn.gov.in
The last date to apply for the post is Nov 24. The filled-in application forms must be sent to the Director, Directorate of Children Welfare and Special Services, No 300, Purasaiwalkam High Road, Kellys, Chennai – 600 010.
Applicants must have been actively involved in health, education, or welfare activities about children for at least seven years or be practising professionals with a degree in child psychology, psychiatry, sociology or law.
The age of the applicants must not be less than 35 years and not more than 65 years on the date of notification. Applicants can obtain other eligibility criteria from the department’s website.
The govt appoints a social worker for the Juvenile Justice Board on an honorarium basis. The position is not a govt employment, and one worker must be a woman. The appointment will be purely based on merit and experience.
