Hallo all! I am Timoogi!

I am a schizophrenic artist and I use my characters and storytelling abilities to hopefully make the world a kinder, more understanding place! 

My current project is Pupa Project, a visual novel/art project about a little schizophrenic girl, Blythe Waldrop, navigating life within a Victorian asylum. Each character in the story is based on my own experiences and diagnoses, my own symptoms I have dealt with or still deal with, and my own wishes for the world to be a better place for people like me.

I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder at 16, before that I had also been diagnosed with Tourette’s, OCD, and PTSD. I have found in the 7 years since then that this world and society we live in was not designed for someone like me to survive. I do not exist in a way that is defined by work or schooling, and therefore I have encountered a handful of people who ask what I even do with my days, like all there is to life is just working like a cog within a grand machine.

I tell them I do what I’ve always done. I do what I have always had immense confidence in doing. I do what I can never ever stop doing, even if I tried!

I create.

I draw, I write, I fantasize, I daydream, I learned to code, I draw and write some more…! My brain is a fractal array of vibrant, dreamy colors, glass shards splintering off to visualize more and more fantastical ideas. I will never be able to stop, too many things buzzing around in my head, a beautiful chaos that must bleed into the waking world. No one will ever comprehend fully how I think or see the world, but with my art, I hope I can at least make the world a little more colorful. 

For a long time, I never knew what I wanted to do with my life. I honestly never thought I’d make it to adulthood. But through working on Pupa Project, I have found my purpose. I want to keep drawing and telling stories only I can tell forever! In a world that was not made for me, I will make my own path. And if anyone wants to leave this stark reality behind, you are always welcome to follow me!
