This policy explains how ToolVerity handles personal information.
Information we receive
- Google account information you authorize during sign-in, such as your name, email address and profile image. ToolVerity never receives your Google password.
- Email addresses submitted to the newsletter or checkout.
- Professional details submitted through listings, claims and sponsorship requests.
- Saved tools and first-party analytics such as visited pages, campaign parameters, referring site, random visitor and session identifiers, and outbound clicks. We may associate the random identifier with your ToolVerity account after sign-in to operate your account and understand acquisition; we do not use it for cross-site advertising.
- Essential technical data such as browser agent and click referrer, used for security and aggregate metrics.
- Payment details processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use this information to operate accounts and saved lists, operate the catalog, review submissions, verify tool owners, deliver requested communications, provide support, attribute campaigns, measure performance and prevent abuse.
Service providers
We use vendors required to operate the service, including Google for authentication, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel for hosting and Stripe for payments. Each provider handles data under its own policies and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can log out at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal information and withdraw consent. Send requests through our contact form.
Retention
We retain information while it is needed for the stated purpose or legal obligations. Unsubscribed addresses stop receiving new newsletter messages. First-party analytics are periodically aggregated or deleted when no longer needed.
