No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why would anyone doordash food from a place that already does delivery?61·30 days agoBecause the user flow sucks and every place has their own shit, including their own apps or shitty web UI, you need to make an account or give email/phone to yet another place that will abuse it, their services don’t have order tracking etc.
The UI and userflow through a single app is preferable to dealing with each individual app/service each restaurant make us use. Why doesn’t door dash hook the restaurant drivers up to the door dash system, instead, and only use doordash drivers for overflow at peak times?
