Hi! I’m JJ. I go by apropos (among other names) on the Internet.
I am a linguist by trade, living and working in Vancouver, British Columbia, by the Salish Sea. I am also a hobbyist programmer and a mathematics enthusiast – having majored in mathematics, minored in linguistics, and having closely studied programming languages and their formal theory throughout my undergraduate degree (BSc UBC ’26).
I am looking for full-time employment starting September 2026.
