2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

 I don't collect a ton of DC but Batman will always have a place somewhere in my collection. The other day while shopping at my local Walmart I found a few displaced DC Multiverse Mcfarlane action figures and Golden Age Batman was one of them. 

With my current space limitations, dioramas and playsets are non existent in my collection. That sucks because not only were they fun to play with but they could also be used as backdrops for action figure pics. Lately I've been tinkering around with A.I. and while not as fulfilling or tangible as a  diorama or Castle Greyskull is, It's a fun tool to use. 

Iron Man is the last figure I picked up from the Marvel Avengers ActionVerse line and I'm digging it. The red and gold really pop and the accessories make more sense with an armored character.  I don't know how much deeper Hasbro will go with this line but as of now I'm all in. I know they're releasing more figures based on the new Spider-Man movie but it would be nice to see more comic or cartoon inspired characters get the ActionVerse treatment. Only time will tell. For now, I'm realy enjoying this line and hope they keep adding to it. 

The one thing alot of Hulk action figures have in common is a bad head sculpt. Often times the hair and facial features look off and the head is either too big or small. ActionVerse Hulk doesn't suffer from any of those things. In fact, this might be the best all around figure in the line. Let's take a look!  Marvel ActionVerse Hulk looks like he jumped right out of a cartoon and into the palm of my hand. The bright green pops against the purple shorts, giving the figure that classic Hulk look. His accessories are okay, although, the oversized fist should have gone on his left hand, giving him two balled up fists. The pictures say it all. This is just a great looking figure. My favorite in the line so far. 

More ActionVerse please! This is correct my action figure collecting friends! I buy, take pics of and review cheap, brightly accessorized action figures so you don't have to 😉 I've already gone over the Spider-Man wave, now it's time to check out The Avengers!  This might be what Captain America is looking like these days, I'm not sure. The Marvel Universe changes faster than our weather does here in Upstate, NY. It's not a bad look. And this being an evergreen toy aimed at the kiddos, the colors and paint apps are nice and bright.  Every Cappy fig should be able to carry his shield on his back.  The ActionVerse accessories are war based. Attachable missles and jet pack make Captain America look more like a Centurion. Dang, remember Centurions?!? Next up...
