The early bird catches the worm! Fine motor play in preschool. We first play this game outside in the grass where the chenille stems/pipe cleaners have been scattered. The children try to find the worms, pick them up using the clothes pins and deposit them into 1 of 2 bags. When done, we empty out the bags and count how many worms are in each bag, compare the amounts, and discover which bag had more/less. My students loved this game so much we continued it as a center in the room.
