USING @francismeats lamb shanks 

MN'S OUZI aka RIZ A LAHM 

LAMB SHANKS 
8 lamb shanks 
Salt 
Lebanese all spice 
Cumin 
2 large onions halved
bay leaves
2 cinnamon sticks
1-2 ltr beef stock/broth

RICE 
2-3 heaped tbsp ghee or EVO
500g beef  mince 
2.5 cups washed and drained basmati rice 
Reserved stock from lamb shanks 
Salt 
2 Tsp tumeric powder
1 tbsp Lebanese all spice 
1 tsp cumin 

TOPPINGS 
1 cup slivered almonds toasted in ghee drained onto papertowel
3/4 cup pinenuts toasted in ghee  drained onto paper towel 
Fresh parsley chopped 

Rub salt, all spice and cumin into the lamb shanks.
In a pan with some EVO seal your shanks on each side making sure there is a good caramelised coat on all sides.
Remove a Broth Rice, All Spice, Lamb Shanks, Beef Stock, Bay Leaves, Basmati Rice, The Lamb, Fresh Parsley, Ghee
