I had my ups and downs but over all I think I actually like weaving with mohair. It was definitely a change of pace from my normal weaving. My style is usually heavy with texture, so this was a challenge to make something lighter. Mohair is much more tacky then the yarns I usually weave with,

Handwoven Mohair Blanket It’s finally finished! After a year of dreaming, planning, dyeing, and weaving, I finally finished making the handwoven mohair blanket. The blanket has been woven, finished, fulled, and gifted to my girlfriend. It’s been the most exciting thing to finally be able to pull this fabric off the loom. This is all hand-dyed mohair warp and weft, woven by Felicia Lo Wong of SweetGeorgia Yarns.

I'm really proud of my new peg loom kit! It took me a long time to find a small UK business who would create these unique looms for me.
