WINDHOEK, Namibia (UNHCR) - Goodwill is in the air at Namibia's Osire refugee camp. Between late March and mid-April this year, UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie visited and donated food, tents and sports equipment to the nearly 24,000 refugees there. On March 23, Jolie joined the High Commissioner's Representative in Namibia, Hesdy Rathling, at Osire camp while working on her new movie, "Beyond Borders," in the country.

UNHCR takes note of reports that the governments of Bangladesh and Myanmar have reached agreement on the return of Rohingya refugees to Myanmar. Some 622,000 people have fled Myanmar's northern Rakhine State since 25 August, triggered by a wave of violence underpinned by denial of citizenship and decades of deep discrimination.
