Inspired by the intimate izakayas of Tokyo, this cozy bar and restaurant is the latest endeavour for Japanese Chef Tatsuya Yamazaki. We were commissioned to develop a brand that was timeless and evoked a sense of craftsmanship and structure. The interiors are inspired by traditional Japanese carpentry, and so in developing the brand identity and brand motif we wanted to infuse structural elements and adopted the timber profile of the ceiling and shelving detail into the brand.
