Creating a spread regarding the design of an individual letterform. Inspiration from the spread should come from the DADA movement. I chose to create an initial spread that is carefully organized and based on golden proportions and then tear it up and create a new, DADA-esque design based on where the pieces landed.

Name of Movement: Dadaism / Dada Date of Origin: 1916 Primary goal: Dadaism was an artistic movement that rejected the parameters of traditional art, and what should be considered "art". Dadaism also paved the way for surrealism and pop art. You can recognize Dada by its irrational nature, quick wit and simplicity. Marcel Duchamp would become a household name in Dadaism. He started "ready-made art" when he famously signed "R Mutt" on a urinal.
