June 28, 1988 Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa opened at Walt Disney World. Situated along the Seven Seas Lagoon across from the Magic Kingdom, this deluxe level resort is full of sophistication and charm. And with newly refurbished rooms themed to Mary Poppins, this is a dream stay for anyone! This resort is in my top five favourite resorts at Walt Disney World. The lobby is a work of art and I can spend hours just enjoying the atmosphere here.
