Another look at the mall entrance to the Eastland Mall Cinemas, opened around 1976. Just barely to the right can be seen one of the entrances into the food court of the mall. (mall was razed in 2014)

The Lion and the Mouse, Eastland Mall (you can see it's a Mall here, and the Lion & the Mouse are Roped Off, No More Climbing on Him & Sitting to Have a Chat with the Mouse), Michigan - The Bronze Mouse was Broken Off & Stolen about 3 Times...They are Still in the Eastland Mall to this Day....and Yes the Mouse in Intact.

Eastland Mall, Charlotte, North Carolina. Belk's opened in the mall about 1975 with the rest of the mall stores following. The movie theatre, tri-plex, was on the lower level and leased/operated by the now-bankrupt General Cinema Corporation. The mural outside the theatre in a mall entrance hallway was a distinctive feature. Not pictured here is a third portrait of Charlie Chaplin. Sometime after 1995 the murals were either removed or painted over.
