While I ogle over this jaw dropping pink fluorite, here’s a fun fact about this specimen brought to us by @mardani.fine.minerals: - “Within these crystals are winding, lustrous, fibrous threads of hedenbergite with a brassy, golden sheen. Although hedenbergite is typically a deep green color, in this instance it has been hydrated to become an amphibole which has turned the color into the more golden shade that we see here.” - 📸 @mardani.f Gilmarite Mineral, Namibian Fluorite, Fluorite Musquiz, Inner Mongolia Fluorite, Rhodochrosite Mineral Specimen, Tucson Gem Show, Fine Minerals, Inner Mongolia, Fluorite Crystal
