The Lady Lovibond - sailed out of port in February of 1748 when the captain took his new bride out for a cruise to Portugal. In a fit of jealous rage, the 1st mate (who was in love with the captain's wife) attacked the helmsman and sailed the ship into the notorious Goodwin Sands. All souls were lost. 50 years to the day, two ships witnessed the phantom ship sailing the same area. It's been spotted every 50 years since, occasionally surrounded by a green glow. I was inspired to write this list because I am in the Navy and have spent a lot of time at sea. Although most of the time it is quite boring, I have had the opportunity to see some beautiful, amazing and sometimes strange things. Finding an abandoned Catamaran in the middle of the Atlantic with no signs of life on board apart from some recently caught fish, and finding a 100 year old buoy that had been drifting undiscovered for decades are two that come to my mind right now.

This shot is taken at a well known location in the u.k called pin mill where a number of wrecks can be found, I am lucky enough to live close by so visit this area regularly. On this occasion conditions were perfect on a crisp cold morning the area was engulfed in heavy fog which created separation between the wrecks and the coastline beyond them.
