This started out as an experiment and I loved it so much, I repeated it with other colors of embossing powders and Infusions watercolor powders. I started by embossing the poinsettia image onto hot press watercolor paper, and then I sprinkled the watercolor powders over the paper. Some light misting of water over it is all it takes for this explosion of color to appear.

This is for CAS248 to create a holiday card. I have been on a streak of making almost all white cards with pops of color lately. I thought the all white background and white birch trees with just a touch of gray around the notches in the tree would be a perfect backdrop to some cardinals and evergreen foliage.
