Stage set

George and Emily's connection grows as the play continues. When they speak they are extremely focused on eachother. With the play being staged to have little to no props or stage design I think being able to create an open or freeing lighting will help relay to the audience that when they are speaking to eachother nothing else matters. Slight fog for clouds and a comforting/lite that fills the room would make the scene feel intimate.
