King Louie

King Louie is a minor character in Disney's 1967 animated feature film The Jungle Book. He is an orangutan and the obstreperous ruler of the Ancient Ruins with an affinity for swing music. Having grown tired of his mundane simian lifestyle, Louie hopes to learn the secret of man's "red flower" (fire) to fulfill his dream of becoming a man.
