Japanese Shrines By Nephilim Dro'Beats

During my Concept Art course I was tasked to design a cityscape and finish it in clean linework + greyscale values. This was a LOT of fun to work on.

A set of characters I designed for Artstation's Feudal Japan: The Shogunate Character design challenge. Challengers were assigned to design a set of 8 characters (Shogun, Samurai, Ninja, Daimyo, Emperor, Geisha, Peasant and Yokai). For this project I took a realistic approach trying to use accurate clothing, tools, weapons and color palettes.
