Not only do I have a powerful induction hob, it has an inbuilt extractor fan which I’m mightily impressed with. It sucks steam in so efficiently, I find it absolutely mesmerising. We have a narrow kitchen so I just didn’t want a big extractor fan or extractor hood on the wall making the space feel more enclosed. This frees up wall space and makes it so light and airy in there. Also my previous extractor fan on the wall used to get so greasy and it was hard to clean because I couldn’t get to it easily. This is so much more hygienic and easy to clean. Never one to not share when I've made a mistake, this one was a bit of a stinker. I painted our kitchen cupboards with a paint that simply wasn't good enough. It's so deflating when your hard DIY project ends up a waste of time and energy, so when redoing our kitchen makeover I made sure to use the best paint I could find and so far so good. The paint I used on the kitchen cupboards second time round is @makeitrustoleum Kitchen Cupboard paint, in a matt finish, in the colour Hessian. It requires no priming or sanding and can be used directly on your kitchen cupboards.
