The wall object 'Madras' comes from a series of works with straps stretched onto wooden frames or wooden discs. By intersecting the straps in a set order, a pattern is created that has an enormous graphic effect. The idea of tensioning straps on wood came to me when I was laying colorful strips of paper on top of each other.
