Falling charms finished in red and Spider-man! | Superhero quilt, Marvel quilt, Quilts

Another one of my kids charity kit quilts that someone else sewed up. There is a small mistake in the pattern in one corner, but its such a lovely quilt that I am sure nobody will mind. I had no hand in making this fabulous Spider man quilt, but wanted to show you how easy and fun kids quilts can be with a bit of homespun and a panel. I have no idea why I need to convince you, because its me with the panel collection!! LOL I will get around to them one day! This was a kit from my stash…

A Plastow Perspective: Spiderman Blanket is DONE! | Spiderman blanket, Quilts, Marvel quilt

It's done! I finished sewing on the binding today just before lunch, so we got this bad boy on his bed in time for nap. Logan was so excited to have it on the bed, it was hard to actually make the bed and impossible to get a picture without him in it. This was the hardest part of the quilt. The accent squares that went on the foot of the bed. The two end ones are paper pieced (I had to create the patterns myself), and the center one is hand appliqued on. They turned out better than I…

Jen's Crafts and Quilts Scrapbook: Spiderman Quilt for Bain! | Quilts, Kid quilts patterns, Spiderman

Here is the single bed sized quilt I have made for my 5-year old, Spiderman mad nephew, Bain...and my third finish from my list for this quarter of the 2015 Finish Along... I think he likes it!! I quilted sets of three lines around each block, with one block in each row and column having a spiderweb or Spiderman shooting out his web... I cannot for the life of me get this photo to upload the right way round...sigh... Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts' Finish It Up Friday and Kelly's Needle…

Spiderman panel with disappearing four patches in 2025 | Disappearing four patch, Patch quilt, Quilts

I used my friend's longarm for the first time to quilt straight line stiches across the quilt. I broke a finger on my left hand, so this was the easiest way to quilt for me. I had to add a piece of black dot on black fabric to make the backing wide enough. I made this quilt top for my nephew who loves Spiderman. Orange is his favorite color. I used disappearing four patch blocks. I hand bound the quilt with orange dot fabric.

Pedal Sew Lightly: I Went to a Superhero Party | Superhero quilt, Marvel quilt, Patchwork quilting designs

We went to a Superhero Party on Saturday for my nephew's 3rd birthday. Since he loves superheroes and he has a brand new big boy room in his newly built home I thought I would help him along with some new wall decos. I chose a couple of the Lego Marvel Superhero paper pieced blocks by Kristy at Quiet Play. The patterns are available free at Craftsy. I made Iron Man and Spider-man. I finished the Iron Man pretty much as per the pattern but I took a smidge off the top blue section and added…
