Wafer paper sparkles using 0.3 wafer paper, edible glitter and a silicone mat 

This is my method to make edible sparkles and I love the shiny surface that drying on a silicone mat gives that kne side of wafer paper. If you were to blitz the dried wafer paper, it would naturally sparkle because of the shiny surface. 

I added a touch of glitter to enhance that look for one particular cake. 

Top tips:

1. Make coloured edible sparkles by adding a few drops of gel colour to your water before dipping the wafer paper. I advise gloves 

2. Great way to use up scraps for minimum waste

3. Don't blitz the driedwafe paper and have wafer paper sails instead
