For a century, we've supported students, enhanced faculty resources, and aided research. In 2025, we celebrate the Smathers Library centennial at the University of Florida. From one building, we've grown into Florida's largest academic resource system with statewide branches and affiliates. Join us to celebrate our history and envision our future.

Even before the University of Florida’s (UF) founding in 1905, the women in UF’s community were and continue to be resilient advocates for and agents of transformation.
