What is co-coaching, and how can it support neurodivergent employees in the workplace? Co-coaching is a collaborative approach that can help individuals and their managers develop a stronger understanding of each other's perspectives, communication styles and needs. While 1:1 coaching typically focuses on the individual, co-coaching brings people together to develop shared understanding and explore how they can work more effectively together. For neurodivergent employees, this can provide an opportunity to explore workplace experiences, identify what support may be helpful and develop shared understanding with managers. Our CPD-certified iDiversity Introduction to Co-Coaching in the Workplace course explores the purpose and value of co-coaching, alongside neuro-affirmative approaches centred around compassion, empathy and non-judgment. We’re celebrating Jay Cochran’s 10-year anniversary with Iansyst Ltd and iDiversity! Jay joined iansyst in 2016, beginning what has now been a decade working in accessibility, assistive technology and inclusion. When iDiversity Consulting was founded in 2019, Jay was there from the start, helping to develop the new business and the services we provide. Over the years, Jay’s role has grown alongside the organisation. Today, as Chief Operating Officer and Accessibility Lead at iDiversity, he oversees our operations and the development and delivery of our services, while continuing to champion accessibility and inclusion for the organisations and individuals we support.
