Earlier this week, leaders from across television, film, gaming and digital platforms came together to discuss a critical issue: ensuring women have equal access to the leadership roles shaping the future of the screen industries. A huge thank you to the 30% Club UK for bringing together such an insightful and engaged group. Special thanks to Pavita Cooper for setting the scene, Emily Stillman for expertly hosting and leading the discussion with panellists Charlotte Riley and Sarah-Jane Wright who shared their experiences and perspectives. A particular thank you to Monica Chadha, whose closing reflections brought the discussion together. One point stood out: many women who reached the most senior roles did so by conforming to traditionally male-coded leadership models, often at significant personal cost. The consensus in the room was clear: the next generation should not have to follow the same path to succeed. Thank you also to our own Julie McKeen and Sally Roake for helping to facilitate the discussions, and to every leader who contributed to such and open and thoughtful conversation. The screen industries shape how millions of people see the world. Who leads them matters. #Media #Entertainment #GenderBalance #ScreenIndustries #WhereLeadershipMatters

Leadership succession doesn't start when someone steps into the CEO role, but years earlier. Speaking to Chris Hamilton for our Leading Through Uncertainty series, Subhanu Saxena shares why boards and investors have a critical role to play, not only in providing capital, but enabling execution, developing talent and helping organisations build leadership pipelines for the future. As careers become less linear and business environments more complex, future leaders benefit from exposure to different functions, perspectives and challenges. The most effective organisations are often those that invest in leadership development long before succession becomes a priority. It was a huge pleasure to attend the Management Consultancies Association finalist's reception last Thursday. It is a huge honour to have served as a judge for the last five years and the consulting talent on show is always blistering! This year, the Rising Star category delivered yet again. I had the pleasure to meet one of the public sector project finalists Aga Szypicyn from EY and hear all about their incredible work with Catch22; another demonstration of the power of the impact of consulting on real social challenges. With awards night only a month or so away and the decisions already long made, these career defining awards are in as grand a shape as ever! Tamzen Isacsson #consulting #awards #mca #mcawards

Today we are launching an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest housing associations, social enterprises and charities. With more than 57,000 homes and supporting over 125,000 customers across England and Scotland, Home Group is seeking a new Chief Property Officer to join its Executive Team and shape the future of its homes, places and communities. This is a pivotal executive leadership role, bringing together asset strategy, investment, building safety and compliance within a single property directorate. Leading a five-year capital investment programme of around £1 billion, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future, while balancing customer outcomes, regulatory expectations and long-term financial sustainability. We are interested in hearing from strategic, commercially astute and values-led property leaders with a demonstrable track record of leadership at scale, and customer centricity. Flexible location, with regular presence in Newcastle required. Please do take a look at the candidate brief, and get in touch with me or Angela Dunbar for an initial conversation.
