In 1908 the remains of an estimated 40-50 men, women, and children were found buried at a farm near La Porte, IN. Many will remain unidentified. This monument was placed in 2008 in their memory, that they would not be forgotten. A memorial for the owner of the farm, Belle Gunness, can be viewed here.

moonwolf-07: I thought this was an unusual gravemarker. Is it a statue of the deceased??? I don't know, but it makes you think that he was probably a very smart man. I thought it was kind of cool. What do you guys think? Comments? Does anyone else have anything to post that might fit this catagory? I would be very interested to see them. Thanks.
