Lapped seam

Lap Seam Foot #71 lets you sew 8 mm wide flat-felled seams in two steps on jeans and sportswear.

A lapped seam is formed when one fabric layer is lapped over the other and topstitched in place. This tutorial will show the basic lapped seam. This seam can be used when stitching a regular seam is difficult such as when sewing a blouse yoke or curved pieces.
