The stone circle at Easter Aquhorthies in Aberdeenshire is around 4,000 years old. Measuring up to 20m in diameter, it is one of the few complete stone circles in Scotland and includes a recumbent, or prostrate stone, flanked by two uprights, the tallest of which is 2.5m high.
