Garabato is the title of the new album by pianist and composer Ester Quevedo, where she brings together a collection of personal stories transformed into elaborate compositions. These pieces serve as the guiding thread for the debut recording of her new trio, alongside double bassist Pau Sala and drummer Andreu Pitarch.

Together, they form a trio full of musical chemistry, capable of developing Quevedo’s original works with a balanced sound and room for interaction—consolidating a distinctive, mature, and compelling musical language that draws listeners into the pianist’s imaginative world.

The compositions featured on Garabato are born from rhythmic motifs, intervallic games, and ideas that Quevedo has been gathering in recent times. This album also marks her first foray into the piano trio format, a choice that has pushed her music and pianistic technique one step further.
