megaside or megabackside?

Here's a combo that has both megasides (from front outside crank, and from back outside crank)... so Dale and I have been arguing about this for a while now: should we call it megaside or megabackside? And which one is blind and which is regular? Here's my argument: it is technically a backside jump, so it should be called megabackside. I've done a variation of it that is technically a side jump, so that one can be called megaside. I think the one from front outside crank position should be called "blind" because if you add a spin (which spins in the same direction as the wrap), it would be blind (using "away from front foot" as my definition for blind). So, in this clip, I would say it's a blind megabackside, then a regular megabackside. Dale's argument: Megaside is much less of a mouthful than blind megabackside. And since 99% of the time, riders are doing the variation from front outside crank position (the first one in the video), then it would make more sense to simply call it megaside, especially in a competition setting. The one from back outside crank should be blind megaside because it's slightly less common. So, Dale would say that in this clip, it's a megaside, then a blind megaside. une.haus is now fully self hosted

until now I've always used third party services for my servers and databases, but as of a few days ago une.haus is now fully self hosted on a server running in my home office! the only third party tools i'm paying are mux for video transcoding (although i virtually always stay under the free tier) and image transformations on cloudflare for ~$5/mo. pretty cool!

STREET UNi X will be on Nintendo Switch this summer

Thought i'd tell y'all before the actual official announcement given how much this community has made the game possible at all. Along with the Switch version is gonna be a huge update to the PC version with loads of bug fixes, improvements to the level design, a handful of new tricks, some new music, way better optimized to run on older hardware, and more goodies! i'll post some clips here when it's getting closer to release but in the mean time i just wanted to say thanks for continuing to post your riding clips here and beyond! The last year or so of seeing the battles for tricks that some of you have been up to really reinvigorated my interest in riding after a pretty big slump. Thanks everyone! Keep riding!!

I've been riding once a week and I can feel myself getting better every time. I started keeping a little training log, it's been awesome. I might need to make a full video about it

8 basic forward roll + leg wrap variations

Filmed all the clips last year, but not satisfied with the editing until (deleted user) 's new video gives me some new ideas. These roll variations are overlooked by many, but just like (deleted user) said they're underestimated while overestimated. Give 'em a try if you're new to rolls or you want to add some fresh feelings to your combos!

for those using the app on mobile - how has your experience been? do you like having the navigation on the bottom? I tried to make it easier to navigate for your thumb holding the phone, but don't necessarily love the look of the bottom navigation. Just curious for any feedback on this (or anything!)
