Specifically, it will focus on various forms of immersion such as Virtual Reality (VR), and establish how Extended Reality (XR) serves as the overarching umbrella term that encompasses VR, Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR). The curriculum includes the history of XR, industry applications, display technologies and rendering, the production pipeline, and the overlap with streaming.
