i often use an HDMI-to-RCA converter to watch youtube on my old CRT TV. by default, it just squishes everything to fit on the 4:3 screen. i use UltraWideo to un-squish my youtube videos. it's always been a lifesaver for that, and this new update just made it even better. the pan feature is ingenious - now, if the 4:3 screen is cutting off something important, i can reposition the video so that it isn't. highly recommend this extension!
It works. I personally don't like the shortcuts since I have a touchscreen laptop. I hope the developer make them optional soon!
I love this extension and been using from last 2 years but the latest release has some bug it is not opening the extension let me switch between video modes normal, stretch, upscale even through keyboard shortcuts in chrome. Please fix it! As I love this app.
Actually works pretty well, but gets 2 stars deducted for new version suddenly wanting to collect my personal data and surf activity! EDIT: Thanks for the fast response and clarifying the issue! Added 2 Stars back. :)

Does a great job making older TV series more watchable. I find it is usefull to set a custom upscale level say 1.2 I think it is allowing some black bars just off to the side but reducing the how much clipping of the entire video has to undergoe. A compromise setting for upcaling between 4:3 and 6:9 can be set very easilly. I find it a little tricky at first finding the slider that turns on fame ratio detection to "On." When On is not highlighed it is easy to miss that switch comletelty since in my color scheme it mateches the backround it is against.
There's no perfect solution to fit an unfit image, but this extension does what's physically possible. Nice.

For ultra wide monitors this is a godsend. I wish i could give it more than five stars. Turned my ultra wide into actual theater for browsing. Rreally really good for its niche use!

Now we talking you got rid of popup and it works on sites older version did not, some sites it dont work on that old version did. So I have 2 versions installed to get the best of both 3.4.9 zip so it wont auto update and the new we will see going forward. I deleted my old review talking about the popup thing. Thanks for listening.

It Works!
I found in the chrome extension shortcuts, it was ALT SHIFT "V" in VOICE. but no auto preset for toggle(empty field). I'll try to restart chrome, but if it still doesn't work. I'm uninstalling. This was a simple perfectly functioning product, shouldn't have messed with it. Seems to have fixed it. I'm guessing the AUTO-Hide trigger (Preferences) up is a premium thing?
You should consider adding "remove floating icon" button or something else.I need to wait for 5-10 seconds and that could have been a movie,gameplay or something else.It is soo annoying to see that icon.Listen to your community and add it as soon as possible.I know there is removing automatically but mannn.Otherwise,app is great just add that button so we don't see that stupid floating thing anymore.

Best one out of many that I have tried. Working everywhere that I tested so far. Unfortunately it works only in fullscreen, would be great if it worked for inline videos too.
