SOUTH KOREA: Seoul – Yeolrin Songhyeon Square – Sculpture Park Exhibition – SCULPTURE CITY SEOUL

SCULPTURE CITY SEOUL is a project being promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government since 2024 to change the entire city of Seoul into a world-class sculpture city by transforming the open spaces into a roofless art museum. It aims to enable citizens to enjoy high-quality sculpture in their daily lives, and artists to present experimental exhibitions in various spaces beyond the boundaries of museums. SWEDEN: Trollhättan – Sculptures, Statues and Monuments – Artworks Collection

The city of Trollhättan has a number of great murals and street art, but urban art also includes creative objects and sculptures, of which there are plenty of very interesting ones throughout the city. The first public artwork by AXEL EMIL EBBE was inaugurated on 23rd June 1936, many more should follow. Especially the installations from CARL-HARRY STÅLHANE became popular landmarks.

CYPRUS: Scuplture Park Ayia Napa – Astonishing Artworks on an 20.000 m² area

Besides the wonderful beaches and the extensive night live, the town of Ayia Napa offers also some culture stuff and fabulous sculptured artworks on an 20.000 m² area. The Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa was built in 2014 and every year they organize a Symposium where sculptor artists from all around the world can participate. GERMANY: Sculptor Pit Ruge – Waldwerft, soap bubbles and pumpkin exhibitions

The sculptor Pit Ruge designs fantastic creatures and entire wonderful worlds of wood, wire and color in his open-air workshop “Waldwerft. ” For the  huge and famous pumpkin exhibitions, which have been taking place for over twenty years now throughout Germany, he and a team of artists fabricate the complete thematic scenarios including figures, which are then hung with pumpkins. The creative factory also produces works of art for countless other events, exhibitions and festivals.

LITHUANIA: Domas Mykolas – Mythological and Contemporary Sculptor

Huge balloon dinosaurs, wolf skulls or a little Trump figure with a spray can – these are some of the amazing sculptural artworks of Domas Mykolas from Vilnius. We met the creative artist while finishing one of his newest masterpieces at the remodeling spray event at Keulė Rūkė. His freshly made artwork was part of the “make empathy great again” mural at the front.  The whole group artwork is just brilliant, Domas contributed with the nice Trump statue.
