Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Vendo — the website at vendo.run and the hosted service at console.vendo.run (“Vendo Cloud”), operated by the Vendo team. By creating an account or using Vendo Cloud, you agree to them.

1. The service

Vendo is an open-source agent that embeds in your product so your customers can build their own features and micro-apps. The open-source software is licensed under Apache-2.0 and is governed by that license, not these terms. Vendo Cloud is the paid hosted service — collaboration, publishing, governance, and metered infrastructure — unlocked with an API key.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use Vendo Cloud. Keep your credentials and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under them. Give us accurate information and keep it current. You must be able to form a binding contract to open an account.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don’t use the service to break the law or the rights of others.
  • Don’t probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass metering and rate limits.
  • Don’t resell or white-label Vendo Cloud without a written agreement with us.
  • Respect the terms of third-party tools you connect through Vendo.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. Usage beyond your plan’s included quota bills as overage at the published rates, in arrears. You can cancel anytime from the console; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t refund partial periods except where the law requires it. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

5. Your content and IP

Your data stays yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and transmit it to run the service. We own the service, the Vendo brand, and everything we build; nothing here transfers that. The open-source code remains available to you under Apache-2.0 regardless of these terms.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Vendo runs AI agents: their output can be wrong. Review what the agent builds before relying on it in production.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practical. After termination we’ll give you a reasonable window to export your data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law / jurisdiction to be confirmed].

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify you — by email or in the console — before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
