The Ved Vyas Foundation is a volunteer-run non-profit that makes Hindu scripture easier to read, study and share. We build modern digital products for a younger generation, and every app remains free, ad-free and open without a paywall.
Hindu scriptures have guided readers for generations, yet many digital editions feel difficult to use or hard to reach. The foundation exists to make these texts available through clear, familiar products that fit how younger readers learn today.
We pair respect for the source with thoughtful design and accessible technology. Our aim is simple: help more people read, understand and return to these teachings without commercial pressure or distraction.
We create BhagavadGita.com, a Bhagavad Gita mobile app, GitaGPT, Hanuman Chalisa and Radha Krishna. These products serve different ways of reading, listening, studying and asking questions while keeping the scripture or devotional text central.
Our team has also shipped some of the earliest AI applications built on a Hindu scripture. We use new technology with care, giving readers useful tools while keeping access simple and the purpose clear.
The foundation is run by volunteers who contribute time across engineering, design, research, translation and content. Small teams ship practical improvements, listen to readers and maintain each product with a shared sense of responsibility.
Our work is open source, so people can inspect the code, suggest changes and contribute directly. This model keeps the project collaborative and lets useful work continue across communities, skills and locations.
Everything we publish is free and ad-free. We do not show ads, place features behind a paywall or charge people to access scripture. Readers can use the products without turning their attention or personal study into a source of revenue.
We intend to keep it that way. Volunteer effort supports the work, while our product decisions stay focused on access, clarity and long term public benefit. Our promise applies to every current and future product.
Ved Vyas Foundation is a not-for-profit (Section 8) company registered in India, incorporated in October 2022 with the Registrar of Companies, Delhi. Its status is Active. It works to preserve and freely share the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma.
