The number of megapixels determines the resolution of the images captured with the main camera. A higher megapixel count means that the camera is capable of capturing more details. However, the megapixel count is not the only important element determining the quality of an image.
With a wider aperture the sensor can capture more light, helping to avoid blur by enabling a faster shutter speed. It also provides a shallow depth of field, allowing you to blur the background to focus attention on the subject.
A multi-lens camera captures two or more images and overlays them. This technology creates sharper images, especially in low light conditions, and allows you to use effects such as softening the background.
The number of megapixels determines the resolution of the images captured with the front camera. A higher megapixel count means that the front camera is capable of capturing more details, an essential factor for taking high-resolution selfies.
Optical image stabilization uses gyroscopic sensors to detect the vibrations of the camera. The lens adjusts the optical path accordingly, ensuring that any type of motion blur is corrected before the sensor captures the image.
The maximum resolution available for videos shot with the main camera. Although it may be possible to choose among other frame rates, those recordings usually have lower resolutions.
A dual-tone flash has LED lights with different color temperatures, delivering a better color balance to photos and videos.
Multi-LED camera flashes use LED lights which have different color temperatures (warm light and cool light), improving the color balance based on the conditions in which the photos are taken.
A BSI (backside illuminated) sensor is a camera image sensor which captures better quality images in poor lighting conditions, and offers better overall sharpness and image quality.

This OnePlus 13 is unbeatable in all aspects... The battery life is optimal, the screen is pleasant and fluid, the phone is tireless, with no slowdowns, the photos and videos are sublime... Despite significant hardware, the phone remains lighter than its predecessors, and sturdy at that. Aesthetics is a more personal aspect, but I find the design to be very accomplished and premium. On the software side, Oxygen OS remains in my opinion the best Android overlay for those who enjoy customization and tinkering with their phone, while remaining ergonomic and ultra fluid. The Android 15 update adds quite a few nice little improvements that are well exploited by Oxygen OS. Finally, the phone is priced slightly higher than its big brother the OnePlus 12, but it is still much cheaper than its rivals in the same range, namely the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The OnePlus 13 is a successful gamble!

I am impressed with the performance of this phone, cameras are good, with high resolution, 3 times optical zoom, and a 6000 mah battery that charges in about 36 minutes, great water exgress protection. I liked the curved edges of the phone , no sharp edges.

If only the phone lasted as long as the older models did, it would be worth it in all ways
