VESIM ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB
The Vesim Electoral Literacy Club (VELC) was established on October 17, 2021. It is a platform to engage and sensitize the community about electoral rights and their duties and responsibilities. At the behest of the Election Commission of India our institute aims to create awareness and motivate our students to actively participate in elections and do their rightful duty of giving vote.
Main aim of this club is to bring the students under one roof and make them understand their rights and responsibilities and the “power of their votes”. The formation of this club played a pivotal role in making students understand that they form an integral part of the society and every single vote matters for the election of the government which made INDIA a powerful democracy and they are also instrumental in developing the future of this nation. Maximum participation of students in electoral voting promises a bright future for the nation .

Encouraging students to disseminate the importance of electoral democracy.
OBJECTIVES
- To campaign and advise citizens about the ‘Right to Vote’ and sensitize them about the voting process.
- To conduct thought-provoking activities that can bring more awareness about rights & duties towards voting among students and faculty members.
- To align the events with the themes ‘Empowered (Prospective) Voter’.
