Cassette Playback Mode
When enabled, changing playback speed also shifts audio pitch — just like a real cassette tape. Slower playback sounds deeper, faster playback sounds higher.
Audio Balance & Channel Fix
Adds an Audio balance control to the player settings. Tilt the sound toward one ear, or rebuild both channels from one side to rescue an old recording whose audio only exists on the left or the right.
Ambient Blur Style
Choose how the ambient glow looks: Standard is a tight, subtle blur; Enhanced is deeper and more immersive; Diffuse is a wide soft wash that spills past the player. Requires Ambient Mode to be turned on in the player.
Classic Loading Spinner
Use the classic ring spinner instead of the Viddla logo when buffering.
CPU-aware Ambient Renderer
Draws the ambient glow with a lighter engine: low-resolution sampling, throttled based on your CPU. Easier on weak hardware than the standard renderer and works with any blur style. Requires Ambient Mode to be turned on in the player.
Most Replayed Moments
Adds a curved heatmap over the player timeline showing which moments are watched most. Click anywhere on the timeline to jump to that point.
Advanced Playback Diagnostics
Always-on stats collection for the player: pipeline phase tracking, codec capability checks with automatic codec fallback, a decode watchdog, and the event log in Stats for nerds. Off by default because the extra sampling can cost smoothness on low-power devices. When off, collection still runs while the Stats for nerds panel is open.
