A jewellery ledger that can always explain itself
Vowerole is built for Indian jewellers — retail, wholesale and manufacturing — on one idea: every gram in the system has to be accountable to the entries that put it there.
Why it exists
Most jewellery software stores stock as a quantity somebody can edit. Almost every problem a jeweller has with it follows from that: a figure nobody can defend at a stock take, a bill that reprices itself when it is reprinted, a karigar’s account settled from memory, and books that agree with the counter only because nobody has checked.
Vowerole is built the other way round. Stock is an append-only ledger of movements and a balance is a projection of it. Every document — a bill, a receipt, a transfer, an issue to a karigar, a return — writes entries rather than adjusting a total. When two figures disagree, the entries say which one is wrong and why.
The rest of it — GST invoicing, purchase, manufacturing and job work, karigar accounts, girvi, savings schemes, the catalogue website, the customer app, the offline counter — is built on that ledger rather than beside it.
No invented figures, anywhere
Not in a demo, not in a fixture, not in a screenshot on this website. A fabricated number in a jewellery ledger is a financial record that reads as genuine, and it hides the defects it agrees with. Where there is nothing real to show, a screen shows an empty state and says so.
Constraints in the database, not in a comment
The weight identity is a check constraint. Tenant isolation is row-level security. Where application code mirrors a rule so a user reads a sentence instead of a constraint name, the comment says which constraint it mirrors — and the database stays the owner.
Built for the shop floor, not the demo
Server-rendered pages that open fast on modest hardware. An offline counter that keeps billing with the line down. Motion that stops entirely for anyone who has asked their system for less of it.
