I am an ELLIS PhD student at Aalto University and the University of Manchester, supervised by Samuel Kaski (Aalto & Manchester) and co-supervised by Mingfei Sun (Manchester).

My current research focuses around the development of methods that exploit structure to solve problems with Flow- and Diffusion-based generative models. Adjacent interests include Robotics, Reinforcement Learning, Differential Equations, and Inductive Biases in ML.

I have received an M.Sc. from the University of Helsinki, supervised by Luigi Acerbi. My thesis was centered on the development of a GPT model that replicates human behavior on the board game Four-in-a-Row, collaborating with the Wei Ji Ma Lab at NYU. Before this, I received my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica.
